(Milford)– No injuries were reported today (Thursday) in a car fire west of Milford.
Authorities say Amy Williamsen of Dickens was driving a 1998 Plymouth Neon on Dickinson County Road A-34 seven miles west of Milford when a fire broke out in the engine compartment. Milford Fire Chief Don Eckard says the blaze spread through the firewall and dash. The vehicle was pretty much destroyed. Williamsen managed to get out unharmed.
The Milford Fire Department was called to the scene around 10:50 this morning.
