(Lake Park)– The new superintendent of the Harris-Lake Park School District takes over in less than a month.
Tim Christensen assumes the post July 1st…when Gary Richardson steps down to become the top man at the Floyd Valley-Maurice-Orange City schools. Christensen is currently a high school principal in Panora.
Christensen told KUOO news he looks forward to his new position. He says the H-L-P district has a number of strong points he’s vowing to uphold…such as reading and technology. Christensen says the strong support the school gets from the community is another drawing card.
