(Spirit Lake)– A neighborhood disturbance has resulted in charges against two Spirit Lake men.
Police say they were called to the 900 block of ninth street in Spirit Lake Friday evening.
An investigation resulted in the arrests of 41-year-old Leonard Pauley of Spirit Lake and 19-year-old Jay Pauley of Spirit Lake.
The two were accused of trespassing on a neighbor’s property after being told to leave several times.
Authorities say Leonarad Pauley allegedly threatened to burn down a neighbor’s house, killing people. He was charged with arson threats; assault while participating in a felony…both class “D” felonies; and trespass…a simple misdemeanor.
19-year-old Jay Pauley was charged with trespass…a simple misdemeanor.
Both men were booked into the Dickinson county jail.
