NCC President Announces Resignation

November 22, 2014

(Sheldon)– The President of Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon has announced he’s stepping down.

Drew Matonak says he’s accepted the position of President at Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, New York. He begins his new job April 18th, 2005.

Matonak says he’ll formally submit his letter of resignation to the NCC Board of Trustees at their meeting Monday.

Matonak was the seventh President at Northwest Iowa Community College. He was hired to the position in April, 2002, replacing Carl Rolf who had served as NCC’s President for 12 years.

NCC Trustees will discuss how to start the process of looking for a new President at Monday’s meeting.
