(Lake Park)– A motorcycle accident this (Saturday) afternoon just west of Lake Park sent one person to the hospital.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Mark Garms of rural Lake Park was eastbound on 130th Avenue when he failed to negotiate a curve at the intersection with 130th Street. The 1985 Honda he was operating went into the ditch.
Garms was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. There was no word on the extent of his injuries.
The motorcycle sustained an estimated three thousand dollars in damage.
The mishap took place around 2:00 p.m.
