(Estherville)– An ongoing drug investigation in Emmet county has resulted in charges being filed against five more people.
Sheriff Larry LaMack says search warrants were executed last week at various locations that turned up methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and guns…along with two thousand dollars in cash.
Among those arrested was 54-year-old Robert Prentice of Ringsted. He was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a class “B” felony; possession of marijuana, a simple misdemeanor; possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor; and holding gatherings where controlled substances are unlawfully used, a class “D” felony. Bond was set at 44,200-dollars.
Also arrested was 36-year-old Mathew Shryock of Estherville. He was charged with possession of methamphetamine, second offense…an aggravated midemeanor; possession of marijuana, second offense…an aggravated misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at 8,450-dollars.
37-year-old Dean Throckmorton of Algona, 29-year-old Dave Wilson of Fort Dodge and 29-year-old Dan Kaneer of Emmetsburg were charged with possession of methamphetamine, second offense…an aggravated misdemeanor. Bond for each man was set at 6,500-dollars.
LaMack says the arrests are related to ones made last week in connection with a search on a residence in Dickens and on August 7th when authorities searched a residence just south of Estherville. Arrested in connection with that incident were 45-year-old Jerry Salis and 41-year-old Sharon Salis. They were charged with possession of marijuana.
Another search warrant was executed that same day on a residence in Emmetsburg that turned up methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
