(Spirit Lake)– A Missouri man was injured Saturday in a motorcycle accident on Highway 86 at the Iowa-Minnesota border.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 53-year-old Michael Hance of Wildwood, Missouri lost control of a 1999 Harley Davidson.
Hance was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake where he was treated for a broken leg.
Authorities say he was not wearing a helmet.
Minor damage was reported to the motorcycle.
The mishap took place shortly after 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
