(Milford)– A two-vehicle accident this (Thurs.) afternoon in Milford sent one person to the hospital.
Milford police say Mathew Scott Alexander of Atlantic was northbound in the inside lane of Highway 71 when he changed lanes and collided with a vehicle driven by Steven Anthony Mason of Carroll.
Alexander was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare with a leg injury. No other injuries were reported.
A 1990 Chevrolet four-door driven by Mason was totaled; three thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1995 Chevrolet driven by Alexander.
Authorities say the mishap remains under investigation.
It took place around 2:44 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 71 and County Road A-34, or 13th Street in Milford.
Police were assisted by Milford Fire and Rescue and the Lakes Regional Healthcare Ambulance.
