(Spirit Lake)– Minor injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening in Spirit Lake.
Police say 14-year-old Alexa Mogan of Harris was northbound on Keokuk Avenue when she pulled into the path of 19-year-old Traci Finch of Bloomington, Illinois who was eastbound on Highways nine and 71.
A passenger in the vehicle driven by Mogan, Doris Bartley of Lake Park, sustained minor injuries but refused immediate treatment.
10-thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1998 Oldsmobile driven by Mogan; damage to a 1998 Toyota driven by Finch was estimated at six thousand dollars.
Mogan was charged with failure to obey a stop sign.
The mishap took place around 8:30 p.m.
