(Milford)– The Milford Fire Department was called to a grass fire this (Wed.) afternoon at Woodlyn Hills Golf Course east of Milford.
Fire Chief Don Eckard says five to seven acres of grassland on the west side of the golf course’s pond burned.
Eckard says they were able to keep it from spreading inspite of a strong northeast wind.
The cause isn’t certain.
Firefighters were called to the scene around 3:00 p.m. They were there about 45 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
