(Milford)– The Milford City Council voted unanimously last night NOT to appeal Arnolds Park’s annexation of the Woodlyn Acres area. The council took the action saying the city of Milford would gain little through an appeal.
A neighboring landowner of the Woodlyn Acres area, Cleve Smith…owner of the Hunter Hills Subdivision…was present at last night’s meeting and questioned the procedure used to notify adjoining landowners of the annexation hearings. Cleve says he was never contacted. State law requires adjoining landowners be notified of such hearings in advance. Cleve indicated he would pursue the issue with the city of Arnolds Park.
