(Spirit Lake)– A traffic stop early this (Fri.) morning in Spirit Lake has resulted in the arrest of an Estherville man on meth-related charges.
56-year-old Robert Eugene Walker was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; interference with official acts and prohibited acts.
Walker was booked into the Dickinson county jail pending an appearance before a judge.
Spirit Lake police say they pulled over a vehicle driven by Walker shortly after midnight for a traffic violation. It resulted in a search of the vehicle that allegedly turned up items consistent with the use of methamphetamine.
Spirit Lake police were assisted by the Arnolds Park Police Department.
