(Spirit Lake)– A man wanted on an arrest warrant for fifth degree theft has been arrested by Spirit Lake police on a meth charge.
Police say they pulled over a vehicle Sunday driven by 44-year-old Randy Schell who was wanted on a warrant for theft in the fifth degree. Authorities say a subsequent search turned up about 24 grams of methamphetamine.
Schell was charged with possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, with intent to deliver; and a drug tax stamp violation. He was booked into the Dickinson county jail.
A news release from the department doesn’t say where Schell is from.
