(Des Moines)– Newly-elected State Representative Mike May of Spirit Lake has been appointed vice-chair of two Republican house committees.
House Speaker Chris Rants of Sioux City announced Monday Mike May has been appointed Vice Chair of the Natural Resources Committee, headed up by State Representative Mary Lou Freeman of Alta.
May was also named Vice Chair of the House Education Appropriation Sub-committee, chaired by State Representative Royd Chambers of Sheldon.
