(Spirit Lake)– A close call Thursday afternoon on Center Lake.
Authorities say a man tipped over a kayak in the middle of Center Lake off of Cenla Campground in Spirit Lake. The man, who’s name wasn’t available, was able to make it to shore with the assistance of a boater: 16-year-old Brian Norman who happened to be out in a jon boat at the time.
No injuries were reported.
The incident took place around 5:00 p.m.
