(Harris)– Authorities in Osceola county say a Larchwood man drowned today (Tues.) after he apparently fell off a dock while fishing.
The victim is identified as 83-year-old John Arthur Flier of Larchwood.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Osceola County Medical Examiner.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says authorities were called to the scene on Iowa Lake near Harris around 11:30 this (Tues.) morning after a farmer spotted the body in the water.
The Sibley and Ocheyedan ambulances, Harris Rescue and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
Authorities say the incident remains under investigation.
