(Spencer)– A Sioux Rapids man faces drug charges after getting caught with what’s alleged to be marijuana in a Clay county park.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was on routine patrol around 8:30 last (Thurs.) evening at Kindlespire Park when he noticed a smell of marijuana. Upon investigating the deputy found a baggie with what’s alleged to be marijuana in it along with some drug paraphernalia.
That resulted in the arrest of 52-year-old Don Phipps of Sioux Rapids who was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Clay county jail.
