(Inwood)– Attempted murder and other charges have been filed against a Lyon county man in connection with an alleged incident Sunday evening.
Lyon County Sheriff Blythe Bloemendaal says deputy Fred Landis was responding to a domestic disturbance when a shot was fired…just missing Landis. A struggle followed.
Bloemendaal says the suspect, 46-year-old Mark Marcottee of Inwood, was charged with attempted murder, interference with official acts and assaulting a police officer.
Bond for Marcottee was set at 750-thousand dollars during a court appearance today (Mon.).
Marcottee remains in the Lyon county jail.
