(Spirit Lake)– Trustees with Lakes Regional Healthcare earlier this week awarded a bid on an asbestos abatement project to a Des Moines firm.
The board Monday unanimously approved a bid of 149,708-dollars from Pro Environmental of Des Moines.
The asbestos removal will be done this spring as part of a project to remodel patient rooms at the hospital.
