(Milford)– Work on a project to install two additional box culverts six inches over the height of the weir is about to get underway at the Lower Gar Outlet.
Dickinson County Engineer Dan Eckert tells KUOO news the General Contractor on the project, Christianson Brothers Construction, has indicate to him they plan to start construction sometime between now and November 1st. He says they hope to have the road that passes over the Lower Gar structure re-opened by Christmas. In the meantime, motorists will need to find an alternate route once the project is underway.
