(Spirit Lake)– What initially was a complaint of loud noise early this (Mon.) morning from a Spirit Lake apartment landed a man in jail on drug charges.
Spirit Lake police say officers were called shortly after midnight to 1612 Gary Avenue Apartment number two after getting a complaint of loud noise.
An investigation and subsequent search resulted in authorities finding what’s alleged to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The renter of the apartment, 28-year-old William Strang of Spirit Lake, was arrested and booked into the Dickinson county jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; violation of a loud speaker device ordinance; and keeping a disorderly house.
