(Washington, D.C.)– Some northwest Iowa airports will receive some federal funding.
Algona and Emmetsburg are among seven airports that will receive a share of 211,500-dollars to update master plans.
The Estherville airport will receive about 207-thousand dollars to rehabilitate a runway.
All total, more than eight million dollars was awarded to Iowa airports through the U-S Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration grant program.
