Lake Park Temporarily Stops Picking Up White Goods

(Lake Park)– Lake Park residents looking to get rid of old white goods or electronic items will have to hold onto them for now atleast.

Mayor Ann Ditsworth says the city has stopped picking up the items effective immediately. She says it’s because of new requirements and permitting procedures that processors of the items have to meet.

Ditsworth says the city is actively pursuing such a processor.
