(Lake Park)– A Lake Park teen sustained minor injuries in a one vehicle rollover late Thursday afternoon on the Iowa/Minnesota stateline.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office says 17-year-old Laura Kenett of Lake Park lost control of a 1994 Ford on 100th Street about quarter-of-a-mile west of Highway 86. The vehicle left the road and went into the south ditch, flipping onto its top.
Authorities say Kenett sustained minor cuts from broken glass as she attempted to climb out of the vehicle. She was taken by ambulance to Lakes Regional Healthcare where she was treated and released.
The vehicle was described as a total loss.
The mishap took place shortly before 5:00 p.m.
The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Dickinson County Ambulance and Spirit Lake First Responders.
