(Arnolds Park)– A Lake Park man is 500-dollars richer thanks to the Kiwanis Car Plunge.
The car broke through the ice of Smith’s Bay on West Lake Okoboji around 10:05 a.m. Sunday.
Dennis Gildermeister of Lake Park was the closest to guessing the correct date and time. He guessed 10:27 a.m. March 23rd.
The event raised 2,500-dollars for the various community programs the Kiwanis club sponsors.
