(Ocheyedan)– A Lake Park man sustained minor injuries early Saturday when the pickup he was driving collided with a bridge.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says Brian Goodell was eastbound on 160th Street three miles east of Ocheyedan when he fell asleep and struck a bridge.
Goodell was taken to his residence by a passerby, and was later taken to Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake where he was treated and released.
1,500-dollars in damage was estimated to a 1999 Ford pickup Goodell was driving; the bridge sustained an estimated 2,500-dollars in damage.
Goodell was charged with failure to have control and failure to use a seatbelt.
The mishap took place around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
