(Algona)– A one vehicle crash over the weekend has claimed the life of an Armstrong man.
The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office says 20-year-old Joshua Herselius of Armstrong was eastbound on 370th Street when the vehicle he was driving crossed the centerline and went into the north ditch where it collided with a utility pole, snapping it in half.
Herselius was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The mishap occurred around 10:40 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of two county roads about two and-a-half miles west of Bancroft.
Authorities say the crash remains under investigation.
