(Spirit Lake)– Kinship of Dickinson County has adopted a new logo.
Director Michelle Hafer tells KUOO news it’s in conjunction with the national Kinship organization celebrating its 50th anniversary. Hafer says all local Kinship programs throughout the country will operate under the new logo.
Hafer says the new logo also incorporates a man, woman and child, since the Kinship organization allows couples as well as family units to become mentors to children. She says it also represents the organization’s team focus on the parent, the mentor and the child.
Hafer adds the Dickinson County Kinship Program will be holding a bratwurst and burger feed at Shopper’s Supply in Spirit Lake from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. this Saturday. The new logo will be on display along with information about the program.
