(Des Moines)– Long time state senator Jack Kibbie of Emmetsburg will not only serve as Democratic President of the Iowa Senate in the upcoming legislative session, but he’ll also be holding some key positions on influential committees.
Mike Grostal, Democratic leader of the Senate, Friday announced his Democratic committee assignments for the upcoming session.
In addition to his duties as President of Senate Democrats, Kibbie will also serve as the Co-Chair of the Ethics Committee and will serve on the Agriculture, Rules and Administration and State Government Committees.
