Jackson County Collision Injures Three

(Wilder, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Monday at the intersection of Highway 60 and Jackson County Road 13 at Wilder sent three people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 46-year-old Mitchel Even of Hartford, South Dakota was driving a 2003 Dodge westbound on Highway 60 and 78-year-old Helen Anderson of Spencer was driving a 2010 Toyota Camry southbound on County Road 13 when the two collided in the intersection.

Even and a passenger in his vehicle, 17-year-old Sierra Even, and Anderson, were all taken by ambulance to the Windom Hospital. All three were treated and released.

Severe damage was reported to the vehicle driven by Even; Anderson’s vehicle was totaled.

The collision took place shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday. The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office.
