(Spirit Lake)– Local residents will be able to make their feelings known about an increase in rates being proposed by Alliant Energy.
The final in a series of hearings the Iowa Utilities Board is holding on the matter will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 10th at the Dickinson County Expo Building in Spirit Lake.
The utility is proposing a 16 percent increase in rates, which would translate to an additional $13.32 per month for a typical residential customer.
