(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Rock ‘n Roll Music Association will hold its annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony and concert this weekend in Arnolds Park.
The association’s Executive Director, Doris Welle, says the festivities will start at 11:00 a.m. Sunday in the pavilion with a memorabilia show, followed by an auction of 85 celebrity items at 2:00 p.m. Proceeds go to the hall of fame museum project. A meet and greet autograph party starts at 4:00 p.m.
The induction ceremony and concert will follow at 6:00 p.m. Inductees will this year include Band of Gold of Dubuque; Seven Sons of Sioux City; The Spectacle of LeMars; The Fabulous Morticians of Lamoni; West Minist’r of Fort Dodge; Continental Co-ets of Fulda, Mn.; New Colony Six of Chicago; Eddie Skeets of Sioux City; Starline Ballroom of Carroll; Skyline Ballroom of Estherville; KLWW/KMRY radio of Cedar Rapids; Lee Harris of Des Moines and the Des Moines Music Store.
