Iowa Lakes Community College Hires New President

(Estherville) The Iowa Lakes Community College has hired a new president. Jim Billings is retiring at the end of the year, and last night the college Board of Trustees hired Michael Hupfer of Des Moines for the post. Trustee President Jack Tatman says he’s impressed with Hupfer’s work and education background. Hupfer says he’s excited to be part of an institution that’s in a good financial position and seems to have a good relationship with the community it serves.
