(Arnolds Park)– The Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum has been awarded 7,750-dollars in a federal grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
A total of 24,470-dollars was awarded to six Iowa organizations to support the conservation of museums in the state.
The Plymouth County Historical Museum in LeMars was awarded 2,325-dollars in the same program.
The Institute of Museum and Library Services is an independent federal agency that promotes leadership, innovation and lifetime learning by supporting the nation’s 15,000 museums and 122,000 libraries.
