Iowa D.O.T Seeking Input On Project On Hwy 9 In Osceola county

(Sibley)– The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking public input on plans for a proposed bridge replacement on Iowa Highway 9, located over Polly Creek north of Sibley in Osceola County.

Proposed improvements include replacing the existing bridge with a new twin reinforced concrete box culvert. Construction is scheduled to begin in 2029.

Highway 9 in that area will be closed during construction with a detour.

The Iowa DOT is accepting public feedback on the proposed $1.15 million project until Monday, August 31st. Those wishing to comment will need to provide their name and email address before submitting their input.
