(Estherville)– The Board of Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College held a reorganizational meeting Tuesday, as it was their first session since last month’s school elections.
Jack Tatman of Spirit Lake and John Hand of Emmetsburg were administered the oath of office. Tatman was re-elected President of the board and Hand as Vice-President. Clark Marshall was appointed Secretary and Bob L’Heureux as Treasurer.
In other business, trustees were updated on construction of the Max O. Pelzer Student Center. Delaine Hiney, Executive Director of Physical Plant, told the board the roof is done and brickwork is about 50 percent complete.
It was also reported that defibrillators are being installed in all of the college’s facilities and that staff training is being offered on the machines.
