(Estherville)– Tuition and fees will be going up in the upcoming school year for students at Iowa Lakes Community College.
The college’s board of trustees voted Tuesday to increase tuition eight dollars per hour to 90 dollars per credit hour. Out-of-state tuition and international tuition were set at 92 dollars per credit hour. Minnesota residents will still receive a waiver of non-resident tuition through a reciprocity agreement.
In other business, ILCC trustees voted to apply for a grant that would help fund expansion of the college’s nursing program at the Emmetsburg campus; and they approved the second year of a two-year negotiated contract for a four and-a-half percent total package increase for faculty and all staff starting July 1st.
