(Estherville)– The Iowa Lakes Community College Foundation is the recipient of a sizable donation from a lakes area business.
Okoboji Boats has donated numerous parts and an engine for marine equipment to the college’s Marine and Small Engine Program. The donation is valued at about 30-thousand dollars. Instructor Rick Brichta recently accepted the donation on ILCC’s behalf. The donation was presented to Brichta by Dan Delperdang on behalf of Okoboji Boats and its owner, Butch Parks.
Shan Ray, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement at Iowa Lakes, expressed his appreciation of all the area marinas for their support of the college’s program.
