(Arnolds Park)– The weather is resulting in some additional changes for tomorrow’s (Sat.) Oktoberfest celebration.
The Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce announced this (Fri.) morning that with the exception of the bike ride, all other activities have been cancelled. Packet pick up for the bike ride has been moved from Preservation Plaza to the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce. They are available for pickup today (Fri.) until 6:00 pm and tomorrow (Sat.) from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Same day registration for the bike ride will also still be available.
The Duck Derby, which was also scheduled for Saturday, will now consist of a drawing of three tickets to determine the winners. Tickets will be available for purchase Saturday at West O Beer with the drawings being held at that same location at 3:00 pm Saturday.
