I90 Rollover Injures Four

November 22, 2014

(Jackson, Mn.)– A rollover Saturday three miles east of Jackson on Interstate 90 sent four people to the hospital.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2005 Dodge pickup driven by 39-year-old Jason Richter of Cedar Falls went off the road to the right on a curve. Authorities say Richter over-corrected, causing the vehicle to go into the ditch where it rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.

Richter and three passengers, 30-year-old Sheila Richter, 18-year-old Alexis Richter and 12-year-old Colin Richter…all of Cedar Falls…were taken to Sanford Hospital in Jackson. Alexis and Colin Richter were both treated for minor injuries and released; Jason and Sheila Richter were held with what was described as non-life threatening injuries.

The pickup was totaled.

The crash took place shortly after 3:30 a.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
