(Worthington, Mn.)– A crash Monday afternoon on Interstate 90 at the junction with Highway 60 in Worthington has claimed the life of a Westbrook, Minnesota woman.
The Minnesota State Patrol identifies the victim as 72-year-old Helen Marie Meyerann.
Authorities say she was a passenger in a van driven by 57-year-old Ileen Meyer of Westbrook.
Meyer and another passenger, 49-year-old Janet Rae Meyerann, were taken to the Worthington Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released.
The State patrol says the van Meyer was driving collided with a fixed object. The accident report doesn’t say exactly what it was.
The mishap took place shortly after 3:30 p.m. Monday.
