(Lakefield)– Two people were injured in an accident Thursday on Interstate 90 in western Jackson county.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 22-year-old Alexandra Knezedic of Decorah, Iowa lost control of a 1998 Saturn that left the road and rolled. Knezedic and a passenger, 22-year-old Zachery Bacon of Minneapolis, were taken to the Worthington Regional Hospital. Knezedic was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital with head injuries. Bacon was treated and released.
The vehicle was totaled.
The mishap took place around 3:00 p.m. at mile marker 57.
