The major upset in the evening came in the race for Dickinson County Attorney. Republican challenger Rosalise Olson handily defeated Democratic incumbent Ned Bjornstad, 3,708 to 2,904. Olson told KUOO news one of her first priorities after taking office will be to move the County Attorney’s office to the former Farm Bureau building which the county owns just west of the courthouse. The amount of rent the county is paying on the current building housing the County Attorney office became an issue in days leading up to Tuesday’s election.
