Heron Lake Arrest

(Heron Lake, Minnesota)..On March 12, 2010 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at the home of Jeffrey Freking, 59, in Heron Lake, Minnesota. As a result of the search, an arrest was made. Freking was found to be operating a motor vehicle in violation of Minnesota DWI Laws, a Fourth Degree Driving While Impaired. A search of his vehicle yielded about 2 ounces of methamphetamine, a constolled substance crime in the First Degree. Additional charges are likely, pending the investigation.
Freking remains in custody at the Jackson County Jail subject to a $250,000 bond.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Heron Lake Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau Of Criminal Apprehension.
