(Estherville)– A special camp is getting under way today in Estherville.
Iowa Lakes Community College is holding its second annual “Heartland Discovery Camp” at its campus in Estherville.
Ellen Gray Kennedy, Dean of the Estherville campus, tells KUOO news the camp offers middle school students with learning experiences that are unique and fun. It does that through various activities that are specially designed for students in that age-bracket. Music, Science, Math, Computers, and Business are among the courses taught during the camp. They’re taught by certified instructors.
Over 70 students from throughout the region are attending this year’s Heartland Camp…which runs through Thursday.
