(Spirit Lake)– Staff members of U-S Senator Tom Harkin’s office will be holding forums on Social Security Tuesday, May 3rd in Spirit Lake and Cherokee.
A news release issued by Harkin’s office says the forums will discuss the need to protect and strengthen Social Security without privatization.
The forum for Spirit Lake is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. this coming Tuesday in room 129 at the Spirit Lake campus of Iowa Lakes Community College. The forum for Cherokee will be held at 1:00 that afternoon in room 300C at Western Iowa Tech Community College.
