(Undated)– U-S Senator Chuck Grassley will be seeing a lot of northwest Iowa over the next couple of weeks.
The senator will be traveling to 10 counties during the congressional recess as part of his pledge to visit each of Iowa’s 99 counties each year.
Grassley is scheduled to tour Shine Brothers in Spencer at 2:30 p.m. August 27th. He’ll host a town meeting at 4:45 that same afternoon in the assembly room of the O’Brien county courthouse in Primghar. He’ll host a similar meeting at 7:30 that evening at the community center in Inwood.
The Senator will be in Osceola county Thursday, August 28th. He’ll tour the Keith M. Merrick Company in Sibley at 7:30 that morning. From there he’ll travel to Estherville for a town meeting at the Emmet County Courthouse at 10:15 that morning. Grassley will then head to Emmetsburg for another town meeting at 12:30 that afternoon at the Election Center.
Grassley will also be making the rounds with some international ambassadors that will be touring Iowa this week. They’re scheduled to be in the Iowa Great Lakes area late Tuesday (8/12)afternoon. A tour of Polaris Industries is on the agenda along with a dinner hoster by the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
They’ll spend Tuesday night in the lakes area before heading on to Sioux county Wednesday.
