(Spirit Lake)– The Good Neighbor Fund of Dickinson county is kicking off its annual fundraising campaign.
Chairman Bob Bergquist tells KUOO news their goal this year is 54-thousand dollars. Bergquist says an intensive mail drive will get underway the week of September 10th through the 16th.
A new organization is being added to the list that benefit through the Good Neighbor Fund. The Humane Society of Northwest Iowa has been added…bringing the total to 12.
49,300-dollars was raised last year for the Good Neighbor Fund.
