(Storm Lake)– Four northwest Iowa companies are among the winners of the 2010 Global Iowa Export Awards through the Iowa Department of Economic Development.
This year’s winners include KOFAB of Algona, GOMACO Corporation of Ida Grove, Merrill Manufacturing of Storm Lake and SIG International of Boyden.
The Global Iowa Export Awards are presented annually to recognize companies that are expanding their market by conducting business internationally. Recipients are chosen based on their past year’s achievements and commitment to exporting as a component of their business strategy.
The awards were presented today (Thursday) at a regional seminar on exporting at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. Among the featured speakers at this year’s conference was Brown Medical Industries of Spirit Lake.
