(Spencer)– The 2004 Flaffest Youth Ambassadors have been selected.
During the annual competition Saturday night at the Spencer High School, the judges named the three students that will represent Spencer at various events throughout the upcoming year.
Amber Feucht was named the 2004 Flagfest Youth Ambassador, winning a 15-hundred dollar scholarship from the Spencer Rotary Club.
Molly Kruse was named 1st place alternate. She received a one-thousand dollar scholarship compliments of Community State Bank.
And the second place alternate is Ashley Sorenson, who won a 500-dollar scholarship from the Clay County Cattlemen.
The three young women will be introduced to the public during the Flagfest opening ceremonies on Friday, June 11th. They’ll also participate in the Flagfest parade on June 12th.
